 The System “Yoga in Daily Life” is a Science of Body, Mind, Consciousness and Soul and it offers a systemised, progressive

approach to yoga practice. 

We practice authentic, traditional yoga: our classes include relaxation, asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises)
and self-enquiry meditation. Our Merrylands studio is a peaceful oasis in the heart of Western Sydney,
just moments away from Parramatta, Holroyd, Granville, Guildford, Fairfield, Chester Hill, Bankstown, Greystanes
and surrounding suburbs.

Sydney ashram is a place where you can retreat to your inner self, and discover how yoga’s ancient wisdom can help you restore
a natural state of balance in your daily life.

Our yoga classes and courses in online classroom are free of charge and donation-based. In these challenging times we want to make them available and affordable to everyone. 

Yoga in Daily Life Australia is a non for profit organisation and all our teachers are volunteers. In order to keep the Yoga Ashram running we need to cover our fixed costs. Our classes are donation-based and your financial support is appreciated.

What you will learn during 6 weeks:

  1. You will learn to observe bodily sensations for entering the state of 'Kaya Sthairyam' (inner stillness). Through mindfulness of Prana (Vital energy) you will evoke the felt sense of inner light in your Anahat Chakra (heart centre)
  2. Applying basic concentration technique with the breath and sound, you will discover the felt sense inner space (Chidakash) and you will be able to expand your consciousness recalling systematically different past events 
  3. Using technique of imagination, visualisation for self-inquiry, by exploring your thoughts and feelings, you will be able to understand your moods and awake the feeling of inner freedom


 Increase your strength & flexibility, tone your body, relax your mind, and cultivate inner peace with authentic yoga techniques.

 The course offers an introduction to a variety of ancient yoga techniques (asana, pranayama, relaxation, concentration and introductory meditation   practices) that can be practiced by everyone, regardless of age or physical constitution.

 Covering the exercises from Level 1 of the Yoga in Daily Life System, the course provides a solid framework for further progressive practice.

 Over the 6 weeks of the Foundation Course you will learn:

  • Easy yoga exercises to stretch and strengthen your body
  • Relaxation techniques to de-stress your body & mind
  • Breathing practices to balance the nervous system
  • Basic meditation techniques for peace of mind
